Earthree Gundam and its variants were a huge success last year due to its unique gimmick of “iron man” style of armor system and solid articulation. However, there is a huge flaw in the Planet system line which is the fact that all kits have either their weapons sold separately with the exception of Earthree. What if I tell you that there a new variant of Planet System that comes with everything you need as a collector and poser? I’m McMegane from SUTD Gunpla Club and today I will be talking about the coveted, Jupitive Gundam!!
Here is what you get in the box:
There are total of 10 runners (counting all effect parts and polycaps), which mostly consists of similar runners for the Core Gundam, brand new runners for the PLANETS System: Jupiter Armor, additional awesome looking bean effect parts and a relatively small sheet of stickers for better color accuracy. This kit also includes a stand which is always appreciated.
For this review, I will be focusing more on the Jupiter Armor itself as I have reviewed Core Gundam before in Earthree Gundam Review which you can check it out right here.
Being the very same Core Gundam from Earthree Gundam with colour palette change, this kit is brighter due to the addition of neon parts similar to GBN base Gundam which makes the colour pop. In my honest opinion, I prefer the neon yellow they used here as it is much easier to work with while making the kit profile look brighter.
